CLUB SESSIONS

There are three opportunities for you to join in social tennis during the week:

• Saturday afternoons: 1pm – 6pm     (Teas are served at 4pm approximately)
• Wednesday mornings: 9am – 1pm
• Wednesday evenings: 6pm – 9pm    (Then have a relaxing drink together in the bar afterwards)

Just turn up and play – all standards are welcome – sessions aim to be inclusive and fun for everyone. You do not need a partner as we mix in and play on a first come first play basis however mixed doubles takes priority at these sessions where possible.

Please note :

If courts are busy or if there are only say 7 players please play a ‘short set’ i.e. first pair to win 6 games with ‘sudden death deuces’ . This reduces the time people have to wait to start playing. This ‘short set’ rule applies to all Club Sessions.

Playing under floodlights:

Players on Court 3 may migrate to Court 1 or 2 when either of these becomes available but must continue their game and not restart another set.

All players are required to make a contribution of £2 towards the costs of floodlights regardless of how long they play or stay. A sign in sheet indicating payment into the ‘lights kitty’ will be available.

These sessions are for Adult members only. Alternative opportunities for Juniors are arranged through the Tennis Coaching staff.
